ReplyDeleteMy vote is for Hyrum. Here are why the others won't work.
Connor: You can't name your kid anything ending in "or", "er", or "ar". Too many "r"s. Try saying Connor Barber, it just doesn't sound quite right.
Ethan: When I think of this name a strange mixture of expensive furniture and mission impossible.
Gabriel: No. There are too many ways to make fun of this name. Just think like a middle schooler. Any name with the word "gay" in it will put the kid through more taunting than he needs to deal with.
Henry: There's nothing particularly wrong with this name, but I knew a Henry in college and one on my mission and both were a little strange.
Kai: What is this? A type of fish. How do you pronounce this? Is it "Kay", "Key", "eye" with a "K" in front of it? Either way, he'll spend his entire life correcting teachers who mispronounce his name.
Parker: Even more "r"s. See Connor.
Trey: Lunch tray with an "e". And neither of you is black, so no to Trey.
Carter: See Parker.
That leaves Hyrum as the only possibility. Hyrum James Barber, this is a good strong name. Not a lot of possible ways to make fun of it. I like it.
you said chet was in the running! And carter already taken by us...carter james kunz...because i want his nic name to be carter sause! My daughter cant say c names she replaces it with t's so it actually would be tarter sause when she says it. this is cody by the way
